Langtang wildlife photography Trek

Embark on a 10-day journey through the breathtaking Langtang region of Nepal, where the adventure begins with a warm welcome at Kathmandu airport. After a restful night in a deluxe AC room, the expedition kicks off with a picturesque drive to Syprubesi, setting the stage for an enchanting trek. Guided by experienced trekking-bird guides, each day unfolds new landscapes and birdwatching opportunities, from the Himalayan Monal to the elusive Blood Pheasant. As you ascend and descend through the mountainous terrain, the trek unveils stunning vistas and rich biodiversity. The trek concludes with a visit to Langshishakharka before retracing the path back to Syprubesi. A scenic drive back to Kathmandu caps off the adventure, offering a final chance to savor the memories of an immersive Himalayan experience, where nature's wonders and birdwatching delights intertwine seamlessly.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters).

Our representative will receive you at the Kathmandu airport and bring you to the hotel. Take some rest at the hotel and then our guide will brief you about the trip. They will provide you short information about the tour and preparation for tomorrow’s sightseeing. After a briefing, you can visit the local areas and buy some personal packing for your overall trip else take a rest at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Syprubesi(1460m)

  • 145 km ride to Syprubesi in a private jeep.
  • 5 to 7 hours driving hour.


Including: Lunch, Dinner and standard accommodation


Day 3: Trek to Lama hotel (2500m, 11km)

  • 6 to 8 hours hike.
  • 840m ascend


(Possible bird species: Yellow-billed blue magpie, Plumbeous Redstart, streaked laughing thrush, Grey-headed Woodpecker, Eurasian Wren)

Including: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and standard accommodation, bird guide and potters.


Day 4: Trek to Tyangsyap(3190,8km)

  • 6 to 7 hours hike.
  • 750m ascend


(Possible bird species: Little forktail, Brown dipper, Darjeeling Woodpecker, Green-tailed Sunbird, Pink-browed Rosefinch, Scaly Laughing Thrush, Rusty-flanked treecreeper)

Including: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and standard accommodation, bird guide and potters.


Day 5: Trek to Kyanjin Gomba (3900m, 10 km)

  • 6 to 7 hours hike.
  • 800m ascend


(Possible bird species: Rufous-vented tit, Red-headed Bullfinch, Altai accentor, Himalayan Monal, Common Krestel, Variegated Laughingthrush, Snow Piegon)

Including: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and standard accommodation, bird guide and potters.


Day 6: Hike to Langshishakharka (4200m, 9 km)

  • 6 to 7 hours hike
  • 360m ascend and same way back.


(Possible Bird species: Bearded Vulture, Blood Pheasant, Ibisbill, Tibetean, Snowcock, Robin Aceentor)

Including: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and standard accommodation, bird guide and potters.


Day 7: Trek to Lamahotel(2600m,18km)

  • 7 to 8 hours hike
  • 1350m descend


(Possible bird species: Golden eagle, Coal Tit, Sikkim Tree-creeper, White-winged Grosbeak, Plain Mountain finch)

Including: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and standard accommodation


Day 8: Trek to Syprubesi (1440m, 9.5 km)

  • 7 to 8 hours hike
  • 790m descend, 500m ascend


(Possible bird species: Mountain hawk Eagle, Black-faced Warbler, Blue tailed Minla, Chestnut-crowned Laughingthrush, White-capped Redstart)

Including: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and standard accommodation, bird guide and potters.


Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu

  • 145 km ride to Syprubesi in a private jeep.
  • 5 to 7 hours driving hour

Including: Lunch, Dinner and Deluxe ac room.


Day 10: Depature to TIA

Sadly, after a beautiful sunshine morning your trip in Nepal comes to an end ; our spokesperson will escort you to the airport approx. 3 hours before your flight scheduled. On your way to home, you have plenty of time to plan for your next adventure tour in the amazing Himalayan country.
